Dr. Loren Rieth is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.

Dr. Loren Rieth is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. His research focuses on basic and translational neural interfaces, (Bio)MEMS, harsh environment sensors, thin film materials, microfabrication, materials characterization, applied surface science, electronic materials, and solar cells. Prof. Rieth's teaching interests focus on thin film materials, neural interfaces/medical devices, microfabrication, materials characterization, biomaterials, and electronic materials.
